KINGFISHR return to the top of the Official Irish Albums and Singles Charts
KINGFISHR return to the top of the Official Irish Albums and Singles Charts this week with their debut album Halcyon and single Killeagh! Originally released on 22 August 2025 via B-unique Records, the album went straight to the top of the Irish charts and has not left the top 5 since.
Meanwhile, Killeagh, has proven to be the biggest song from a domestic artist in recent memory, and has now spent a combined total of 11 weeks on the #1 spot including an eight-week consecutive run from July to September. The track, an ode to bassist Eoin Fitzgibbon’s hometown and hurling team, looks set to be the biggest song in Ireland by any artist for 2025, with its audio streams surpassing massive hits by Alex Warren, Chappell Roan, and Gracie Abrams. The song’s return to the top spot follows their recent surprise appearance on The Late Late Toy Show where they performed the song with the Toy Show kids. Diamonds & Roses also sees a significant jump in the charts, up 44 places to #3 this week.
Kingfishr’s year has included a a sold-out show at Dublin’s Fairview Park and a headline appearance on the Main Stage at Electric Picnic, and they have announced an expanded schedule of Irish and international live dates. Next week on 18 & 19 December they play two sold-out shows at Dublin’s 3Arena and two concerts at TF Royal in Castlebar on 13 and 14 December.
