Olivia Rodrigo dominates the charts with #1 album & single!

OLIVIA RODRIGO returns to the #1 spot on the IRMA Albums Chart

OLIVIA RODRIGO returns to the #1 spot on the IRMA Albums Chart today with you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love, her third Irish #1 album, and tops the Singles Chart with stupid song, her sixth Irish number #1 single! The cure and drop dead, which both topped the charts themselves, sit at #3 and #4 respectively, giving Rodrigo three songs in the top five.

Released 12 June via Geffen Records and produced by longtime collaborator Dan Nigro, the album is structured in two halves: Girl So in Love and You Seem Pretty Sad, and features Rodrigo’s first ever collaboration, what’s wrong with me, with Robert Smith of The Cure. Rodrigo debuted the track at a surprise set at Primavera Sound last week.

The official video for stupid song, directed by Mitch Ryan and shot in New York City, features Prima Ballerina Tiler Peck and dancers from the NYC Ballet and American Ballet Theatre. It follows lead single drop dead, which made Rodrigo the first artist ever to debut the lead singles from their first three albums at number one, and second single the cure, which also reached #1 in Ireland in May.
