The RTÉ Choice Music Prize returns for its 21st edition

The RTÉ Choice Music Prize returns for its 21st edition on Thursday 5 March at Vicar Street. Highlighting outstanding Irish music across multiple categories, this week saw the rollout of nominations for 2025, with shortlists for Irish Album of the Year, Irish Artist of the Year, Irish Breakthrough Artist, and Irish Song of the Year announced daily on RTÉ 2FM’s Tracy Clifford show between 19 and 23 January.

Irish Album of the Year 2025, shortlist announced Monday 19 January: Ten albums were revealed as nominees for the Irish Album of the Year award.
