TAYLOR SWIFT lands her TWELFTH Irish #1 album on the Official Irish Albums Chart!

The Life of a Showgirl, the twelfth studio album from TAYLOR SWIFT, debuts at #1 this week on the Official Irish Albums Chart, and marks her twelfth #1 album in Ireland (eight original albums, four re-recorded versions)! Released on 3 October through Republic Records, the album was written and recorded between Sweden, London and New York, and sees Swift reuniting with producers Max Martin and Shellback. The Life of a Showgirl extends Swift’s record as the artist with the most #1’s in Irish chart history following on from 2024’s record-breaking The Tortured Poet’s Department.

Three tracks from the album dominate this week’s Official Irish Singles Chart, with The Fate of Ophelia debuting at #1, Opalite at #2, and Elizabeth Taylor at #3. The Fate of Ophelia becomes Swift’s fourth Irish #1 single and marks the second time she has occupied the entire Top 3, following her November 2022 sweep with songs from Midnights.

The record is delivered in multiple formats. There are 27 physical variants: sixteen CD editions, eight vinyl variants, two deluxe CDs bundled with apparel items, and a cassette edition. On the digital side, five download versions and a “Track by Track” edition with spoken-word intros are available.
