Amble’s The Swell holds at #1 while Oasis and Westlife are back in the top 10!

Amble hold at #1 for a second week with The Swell, their first Irish chart-topper, as the trio are currently mid-way through their UK headline tour ahead of a 19-date North American run beginning October 22. Sienna Spiro's Great Expectation continues its ascent since entering the charts at #47 in mid-July, now sitting at #2. Fontaines DC's Marianne falls four places to #6 in its fifth week.

On the albums chart, Olivia Rodrigo'sYou Seem Pretty Sad For A Girl So In holds at #1 for a ninth week, drawing level with Olivia Dean's The Art of Loving for the longest run at the top in 2026, and is on course to be the biggest album in Ireland this year. Noah Kahan's The Great Divide remains at #2. Amble's Reverie holds at #3 in its 69th week on chart.

Oasis’ Slane Castle accouncement on September 4 and 5, 2027, their first appearance at the Co. Meath venue since 2009, has sent their back catalogue surging back into the top 20: Time Flies 1994-2009 jumps to #5, What's The Story Morning Glory is at #14, and Definitely Maybe at #18. Richard Ashcroft is confirmed as support for the Slane dates. Harry Styles's Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally. moves to #16 on the back of three Croke Park dates announced for August 18, 20 and 21, 2027, with US neo-soul singer Baby Rose supporting all three shows. Westlife's 25 — The Ultimate Collection re-enters the top 10 at #9, with the group currently playing a record run of shows at Dublin's 3Arena.
