PADDYWHACKERY by The Mary Wallopers lands at #4 this week. MY BODY ISN’T READY by SOMBR reaches #1

PADDYWHACKERY the new album by The Mary Wallopers enters the Irish Album Charts at No. 4 this week!

This is the Dundalk Irish trad folk groups third studio album. Released via BC Records on September 18, 2026, the 11 track album was recorded over two weeks in Liverpool, it was produced by James Skelly of The Coral and engineered by Chris Taylor.

According to founding member Charles Hendy, the title Paddywhackery is a reclamation and a "f*** you" clap-back at critics who dismiss the band with stereotypical tropes.
