Cian Ducrot is back at #1 on the Official Irish Albums Chart

CIAN DUCROT secures his second #1 on the Official Irish Albums Chart this week with Little Dreaming! Released 1 August, via Polydor Records, the 16-track sophomore album follows his debut Victory, which topped both the Irish and UK charts in August 2023, and set him on course for his first Grammy Award nomination and win for co-writing SZA’s track Saturn.

The new album represents Ducrot’s continued growth as an artist, building on the success that began with his viral breakthrough single All for You in 2022, which peaked at #2 in Ireland and #19 in the UK. His follow-up single I’ll Be Waiting also achieved significant chart success, reaching #6 on the Official Irish Singles Chart and #16 in the UK.

Little Dreaming marks a sonic evolution for the Cork-born artist, incorporating 70s and 80s influences into a journey of self-discovery through unguarded songwriting. The album was preceded by four singles: Who’s Making You Feel It, the title track Little Dreaming, Shalalala, and Your Eyes. New track track What About Love blends intimate Elton John-inspired verses with stadium-bound choruses.
