OASIS dominate the Official Irish Albums Chart!

OASIS once again dominate the Official Irish Albums Chart this week ahead of their Croke Park double-bill this weekend!

Time Flies… 1994–2009, their career-spanning greatest hits compilation, claims the top spot again, having previously topped the chart for two weeks in July at the beginning of the reunion tour and becoming their sixth Irish #1 album. Meanwhile, (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? moves into 2nd place while Definitely Maybe sit at #4. The Masterplan, the band’s 1998 b-sides compilation, squeaks into the top 100 at at #90.

The chart dominance comes as Oasis prepare for two sold-out performances at Croke Park on Saturday 16 August and Sunday 17 August. The concerts mark the band’s first Irish shows since their appearance at Slane Castle in 2009, bringing Liam and Noel Gallagher back together on stage for the first time in 16 years.
