CMAT tops the Official Irish Albums Chart with Euro-Country!
CMAT tops the Official Irish Albums Chart
CMAT lands straight at #1 on the Official Irish Albums Chart this week with her third studio album Euro-Country, narrowly beating Sabrina Carpenter’s Man’s Best Friend in an incredibly close-run chart battle! Carpenter had led the chart for most of the week before CMAT edged ahead as full sales and streaming data were counted, making this one of the closest chart races of 2025 so far!
Released on 29 August via CMATBaby / AWAL, the record builds on the success of her previous chart-toppers If My Wife New I’d Be Dead (2022) and Crazymad, for Me (2023), giving the Dunboyne singer a third consecutive Irish #1.
Produced by Oli Deakin and recorded at studios in Brooklyn and Nashville, the album blends country-pop with sharp social commentary and personal reflection and has received glowing reviews from The Guardian, NME, DIY, and Rolling Stone. CMAT is currently on her Euro-Country Tour in North America, with sold-out shows in New York and Los Angeles and additional dates in Chicago, Toronto, Boston, and Atlanta.
