FLORENCE + THE MACHINE are the highest new entry on the Official Irish Albums Chart

FLORENCE + THE MACHINE are the highest new entry on the Official Irish Albums Chart today with their sixth studio album Everybody Scream , landing at #3. Released on 31 October 2025 through Polydor and Republic Records, the album arrives three years after their previous album Dance Fever which peaked at #2 on the Irish Charts.

The album was created during a period of healing following life-saving surgery that Florence Welch underwent during the 2023 Dance Fever Tour. Production credits include Welch, IDLES guitarist Mark Bowen, James Ellis Ford, and The National’s Aaron Dessner, with Mitski contributing as a co-writer on the title track and Buckle.

The campaign for Everybody Scream began with the release of the title track on 20 August 2025, accompanied by a music video directed by Autumn de Wilde. One of the Greats followed as the second single. Days before the album’s release, the band unveiled Sympathy Magic as the third single on 27 October 2025, following a television debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The track was written and produced with Danny L. Harle and Aaron Dessner, with an accompanying music video again directed by longtime collaborator Autumn de Wilde.
