DAVE knocks TAYLOR off the top spot with The Boy Who Played the Harp!
DAVE secures the #1 spot on the Official Irish Albums Chart
DAVE secures the #1 spot on the Official Irish Albums Chart this week with The Boy Who Played the Harp, his third studio album, marking his second Irish #1 album following 2021’s We’re All Alone in This Together. Released on 24 October through Neighbourhood Recordings, the album was recorded at several locations including Abbey Road Studios, The Church Studios, and Real World Studios.
The majority of the record is produced by Dave himself (under the stage name SantaN), alongside Jo Caleb and Jonny Leslie, with repeated appearances from James Blake, Fraser T. Smith, and Kyle Evans. The album features an impressive lineup of collaborators including Tems on Raindance, James Blake on both History and Selfish, Kano on Chapter 16, and Jim Legxacy on No Weapons.
Dave has announced a European arena tour in support of the album, starting February 2026 with a headline date at Dublin’s 3Arena on 2 March. Additional dates are scheduled in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow and continental Europe.
