Raye’s album This Music May Contain Hope. lands at #2 this week on the IRMA Official Albums Chart – very narrowly pipped at the post by Olivia Dean’s The Art of Loving which returns to the top spot!

Released independently through Human Re Sources on 27 March 2026, the record is the British singer-songwriter’s second studio album, following her critically acclaimed debut My 21st Century Blues, which won a record six BRIT Awards in 2024 and earned her four Grammy nominations.

Raye wrote and co-produced the album with collaborators including Chris Hill, Mike Sabath, Tom Richards, and Hans Zimmer. The record incorporates elements of big band, jazz, R&B, soul, orchestral pop and pop, divided into four season-themed acts.
