BTS have secured their third Irish #1 album on the IRMA Official Albums Chart

BTS have secured their third Irish #1 album today as Arirang tops the IRMA Official Albums Chart! Released on March 20, 2026 via Big Hit Music, the record is the group’s sixth Korean-language and tenth overall studio album and their first in nearly six years, following a hiatus during which each member completed their mandatory military service. The band has previously topped the Irish Charts with Map of the Soul: 7 and Be, both released in 2020.

Recorded between July and November 2025 in Los Angeles, the album brings in an eclectic roster of collaborators including Diplo, Ryan Tedder, Kevin Parker, Mike WiLL Made-It, Artemas, and JPEGMafia. The band began working together that summer, with RM updating fans via Weverse in August and Jimin confirming the album was finished in November.

All seven members, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook, contributed to the songwriting and production across the project, which incorporates elements of pop, hip-hop and R&B while drawing thematic influence from the traditional Korean folk song Arirang. Lead single Swim lands at #19 on the IRMA Singles Chart.
