NOAH KAHAN lands his second Irish #1 album with The Great Divide!

Noah Kahan enters the IRMA Official Albums Chart at #1

Vermont singer-songwriter Noah Kahan enters the IRMA Official Albums Chart at #1 this week with The Great Divide, his fourth studio album, released on 24 April 2026 through Mercury Records! The 17-track record comes four years after Stick Season, his 2022 breakthrough that spent 14 non-consecutive weeks at #1 in Ireland and turned Kahan into one of the most streamed artists in the country.

The album was announced in January with the title track dropping as the lead single on 30 January, its music video premiering during the Grammy Awards and topping the Irish Singles Chart. Porch Light followed in March as the second single, co-written with producer Grammy-winning producer Aaron Dessner and peaking at #8 on the charts. The third single Doors, released alongside the album, debuts today at #3.

Kahan co-produced the record with Dessner and longtime collaborator Gabe Simon. Simon has previous credits with Dua Lipa, Lana Del Rey, and Koe Wetzel; Dessner is known for his work with Taylor Swift and Bon Iver. Recording took place across multiple locations including Dessner’s Long Pond Studio in upstate New York, Gold Pacific Studios and Fire Tower Farm in Nashville, and Guilford Sound in Vermont. Songwriter Amy Allen also contributed as a collaborator.
